Domestic Violence Course

This two hour online course  is designed to assist healthcare professionals and attorneys to understand the epidemic of domestic violence which affects our licensure and practice daily as we serve our clients/patients. The significant increase of domestic violence events also affects law enforcement professionals, who serve as the first responder in most domestic violence cases. The course includes training in the “rescue triangle”, which is often present when interventions are happening during altercations. Proper de=escalation techniques are described in detail, as well as proper legal and ethical considerations. This course is designed to meet or exceed most jurisdictional Board requirements for health care professional’s licensure renewals.
